Dear Guests,
We trust you enjoy your time with us here at Light and Life Park. Here is some information we would like to share with you concerning the Park rental properties.
- If this is your first time renting from Light & Life park, please complete the Renter’s Application and e-mail, fax, or mail it back to us. Renters/Guest Application.
- NO PETS ARE PERMITTED IN THE PARK.
- All rental properties are owned and managed by Light and Life Park and governed by the Park Board of Directors.
- We understand that many renters have graciously donated furnishings, and the Park is very appreciative of your generosity. Please realize, however, that once items – furnishings or otherwise, are placed and left in the guest rooms and cabins, they become property of the Park. In light of this, ALL rental properties need to be left in rentable condition when you leave.
- NO personal items are to be left in the rental properties for storage once you leave. Just because something was left in a room last year, does not mean it will be there next year. It is up to the housekeeping staff to determine if things need to be moved or if something is needed in a different room or cabin or discarded.
- Upon arrival each rental property is supplied with trash bag liners, a roll of toilet paper, and a roll of paper towels. If more are needed beyond this, it is your responsibility to provide it. You may come to the office for light bulbs or to report maintenance requests using the forms located just inside the Park Office on the wall to the left.
- Each unit is initially supplied with bath towels and linens for the number of people occupying the room. If additional guests will occupy the unit for a short visit, renters can request additional linens as needed, and return them to housekeeping after they have been laundered. We do not provide Swimming Towels. Since we do not have maid service, it is the responsibility of guests to launder their own sheets and towels during their stay with us (rolls of quarters for the laundry are available in the Park Office). Fresh linens and towels are switched out between guest reservations – when the rooms are cleaned for the next occupant. Cleaning of the room is also the responsibility of the occupant during their stay. We simply do not have the staff available to do this for you.
- On the back of each front door, there is a sign that states what unit you are in and the 911 address in case of emergency. If you call 911, do not tell them you are in a Guest Room or Cabin (e.g. Guest Room 7 or Cabin 6). Instead give them the information on the sign with the correct address information.
- To hold a specific unit, a deposit for the 1st month’s rent must be submitted with a Renter’s Application. Exception: A deposit of $100 by April 15th, is accepted of guests who have rented for 3 or more successive years.
- Preference will be given to current renters for reservations for the next season as long as the reservation and pre-season deposit is made on or before April 15th of the current season. After this date, reservations will be filled on a first come-first served basis.
- If a reservation must be cancelled, the cancellation must be made before November 1st in order to recieve a refund on your deposit.
- Please take your trash to the dumpsters located on the south end of the Park, across the bridge on Zion Ave. Housekeeping does not pick up trash while you are here.
If at any time you have questions, please feel free to contact the Park Office at 863-858-7504.
